The Company offers a comprehensive range of generic human pharmaceutical products in over 800 tablet, capsule, liquid and topical formulations and dosage forms. The Company manufactures and markets one branded pharmaceutical prescription product, a pain medication sold under the trademark Kadian, in the U.S. and promotes a second product in the U.S. In addition, the Company manufactures and markets a line of fermentation-based active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) that are used primarily by third parties in the manufacturing of generic and branded pharmaceutical products. It also manufactures and markets animal health products in over 80 formulations and dosage forms. The Company conducts business in approximately 60 countries and has approximately 4,200 employees at over 30 sites in over 20 countries.
