The Company is engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing and selling motor and servo motion products primarily to the Commercial Motor, Industrial Motion Control and Aerospace and Defense markets. Prior to July 29, 2002, the Company was also engaged in designing, manufacturing and selling advanced systems and instrumentation to the worldwide power and process industries. As discussed more fully in Note 14 of the Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements, on July 29, 2002, the Company sold substantially all of its Power and Process Business, and in March 2003 1 - finalized the sale of the Calibrator Business.
