Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. is a Delaware corporation that was organized in 1979 as the holding company parent of Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated (ABI), a Missouri corporation whose origins date back to 1875. In addition to ABI, which is the nations leading brewer of beer, the Company is also the parent corporation to a number of subsidiaries that conduct various other business operations. The Companys operations are comprised of the following principal business segments: domestic beer, international beer, packaging, entertainment, and other. In 2004, domestic beer contributed 76.0% and 90.8%, international beer contributed 5.4% and 21.7%, packaging contributed 9.4% and 4.5%, and entertainment contributed 6.6% and 4.8% to consolidated net sales and consolidated net income, respectively.
