Carriage Services Inc. is listed on NYSE (CSV). We are a leading provider of death care services and merchandise in the United States. We operate two types of businesses: funeral homes, which currently account for approximately 75% of our total revenue, and cemeteries, which currently account for approximately 25% of our total revenue. As of December 31, 2004, we operated 135 funeral homes in 28 states and 30 cemeteries in 12 states. For the year ended December 31, 2004, we had revenues of $150.2 million and earnings from continuing operations of $11.0 million. We primarily serve suburban markets and believe we are a market leader (first or second) in most of those markets. We provide funeral and cemetery services and products on both an at-need (time of death) and preneed (planned prior to death) basis. Our operations are divided into two business segments: .
