Cavalier is engaged in the production, sale, financing and insuring of manufactured homes. Revenue, operating income (loss), identifiable assets and other financial data of the Companys industry segments for the three years ended December 31, 2004 are contained in Note 11 of Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements in Part II. Cavco Industries Inc. is listed on NASDAQ (CVCO). Effective June 30, 2003, Cavco Industries, LLC, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Centex Corporation (Centex) and our predecessor, was merged into Cavco Industries, Inc. and 100% of the outstanding shares of our common stock was distributed to the stockholders of Centex. Upon this distribution, we became a separate public company. Unless the context otherwise requires, all financial information contained in this section gives effect to the reorganization as if it had occurred prior to the date of such financial information. We are the largest producer of manufactured homes in Arizona, having made wholesale shipments of 3,992 manufactured housing units during our fiscal year ended March 31, 2005. We are also the 12th largest producer of manufactured homes in the United States in terms of wholesale shipments, based on 2003 data published by Manufactured Home Merchandiser, an industry trade publication.
