CorVel is an independent nationwide provider of medical cost containment and managed care services designed to manage the medical costs of workers’ compensation and other healthcare benefits, primarily coverage under group health and auto insurance policies. The Company’s services are sold as bundles of solutions directed to managing claims, care, networks, reimbursements and settlements. They include automated medical fee auditing, preferred provider networks, out-of-network-line item bill negotiation and repricing, utilization review and management, medical case management, vocational rehabilitation services, early intervention, Medicare Set-Asides and life-care planning, and a variety of directed care services including independent medical examinations, diagnostic imaging, transportation and translation, durable medical equipment and physical therapy.
