It is the fourth largest tire manufacturer in North America and, according to a recognized trade source, is the eighth largest tire company in the world based on sales. Cooper focuses on the manufacture and sale of passenger and light truck replacement tires. It also manufactures radial medium truck tires and materials and equipment for the truck tire retread industry. The Company is organized into two separate, reportable, business segments: North American Tire Operations and International Tire Operations. Each segment is managed separately because they operate in different geographic locations.
