General Overview We are a biopharmaceutical company principally engaged in the development of two unique polymer-based delivery technologies for medical applications. Our Micropump® technology is a multiparticulate technology for oral administration of small molecule drugs with applications in controlled-release, tastemasking and bioavailability enhancement. Our Medusa® nano-particulate technology is designed to deliver therapeutic proteins, peptides and small molecules. Our expertise in polymer science has also been instrumental in the development of a photochromic eyeglass lens product that was launched by Corning in 1999. Additionally, we have developed a patented biomaterial, ColCys®. Our Medusa® technology permits the long-acting controlled-release of proteins without the denaturation or other adverse effects on such proteins of certain other delivery systems.
