GASCO ENERGY INC is listed on AMEX (GSX). Gasco Energy, Inc. (Gasco) is a natural gas and petroleum exploitation, development and production company engaged in locating and developing hydrocarbon prospects, primarily in the Rocky Mountain region. Our, we, and us as used in this annual report, also refer to Gasco Energy, Inc. The Companys principal business strategy is to enhance stockholder value by using technologies new to a specific area to generate and develop high-potential exploitation prospects in this area. The Companys principal business is the acquisition of leasehold interests in petroleum and natural gas rights, either directly or indirectly, and the exploitation and development of properties subject to these leases. The Company is currently focusing its drilling efforts in the Riverbend Project located in the Uinta Basin of northeastern Utah, targeting the Wasatch, Mesaverde and Blackhawk formations.
