Hollinger International Inc. is listed on NYSE (HLR). The Company's business is concentrated in the publishing, printing and distribution of newspapers in the United States and Canada under two operating segments: the Chicago Group and the Canadian Newspaper Group. The Chicago Group represented approximately 83.8% and the Canadian Newspaper Group represented approximately 16.2% of the Company's revenues for the year ended December 31, 2004. The Chicago Group includes the Chicago Sun-Times, Post-Tribune, Daily Southtown and other city and suburban newspapers in the Chicago metropolitan area. The Canadian Newspaper Group consists primarily of its magazine and business information group and community newspapers in western Canada, the major portion of which are held through the Company's approximately 87% interest in Hollinger Canadian Newspapers, Limited Partnership (Hollinger L.P.). Unless the context requires otherwise, all references herein to the Company are to Hollinger International Inc.
