The Company currently owns three brands, CANDIES(R), BONGO(R) and BADGLEY MISCHKA(R), which it licenses to third parties for use in connection with a variety of apparel, footwear, and fashion products. The Company also arranges through its wholly-owned subsidiary Bright Star Footwear, Inc. (Bright Star) for the manufacture of footwear products for mass market and discount retailers under the private label brand of the retailer. The Companys business strategy, as a licensing and marketing company, is to maximize the value of its intellectual property by entering into strategic licenses with partners who have been selected based upon the Companys belief that they will be able to produce and sell quality products in the categories of their specific expertise.
