Jacksonville Bancorp Inc. is listed on NASDAQ (JXSB). Jacksonville Bancorp, Inc. is a Federal corporation. On May 3, 2002, Jacksonville Savings Bank completed its reorganization into the two-tier form of mutual holding company ownership. At that time each outstanding share of the Banks common stock was converted into a share of the Companys common stock. The only significant asset of the Company is its investment in the Bank. The Company is majority owned by Jacksonville Bancorp, MHC, a Federal-chartered mutual holding company (the Mutual Holding Company). The Bank is an Illinois-chartered savings bank headquartered in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Bank conducts its business from its main office and six branches, two of which are located in Jacksonville, one of which is located in each of the following Illinois communities: Virden, Chapin, Concord and Litchfield.
