Currently, the Company's business consists solely of the ownership of Landmark National Bank, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. As of December 31, 2004, the Company had $42.1 million in total assets. The Company is headquartered in Manhattan, Kansas and has expanded its geographic presence through acquisitions in the past several years. Effective April 1, 2004, the Company acquired First Kansas Financial Corporation (First Kansas), the holding company for First Kansas Federal Savings Association (First Kansas Federal). In conjunction with the transaction, First Kansas Federal was merged into the Bank (the 2004 Acquisition). Effective October 9, 2001, Landmark Bancshares, Inc., the holding company for Landmark Federal Savings Bank, and MNB Bancshares, Inc.
