Life Partners Holdings Inc is listed on NASDAQ (LPHI). General. Life Partners Holdings, Inc. is the parent company of Life Partners, Inc. (LPI). LPI is the oldest and one of the largest viatical settlement companies in the United States. To supplement LPIs viatical business, we have expanded our operations and services to include life settlement transactions, which we believe will emerge as a market surpassing the viatical market. The Viatical and Life Settlement Business. LPI was incorporated in 1991 and has conducted business under the registered service mark Life Partners since 1992. Until this fiscal year, our revenues have been principally derived from fees for facilitating the purchase of viatical settlement contracts. A viatical settlement is the sale of a life insurance policy by a terminally ill person to another party. By selling the policy, the insured (a viator) receives an immediate cash payment to use as he or she wishes.

Life Time Fitness is listed on NYSE (LTM). We operate distinctive and large sports and athletic, professional fitness, family recreation and resort-spa centers under the LIFE TIME FITNESS® brand. We design and develop our own centers, and we focus on providing our members and customers with products and services at a compelling value in the areas of exercise, education and nutrition. As of March 10, 2005, we operated 40 centers primarily in suburban locations across eight states. In addition to traditional health club offerings, most of our centers include an expansive selection of premium amenities and services, such as indoor swimming pools with water slides, basketball and racquet courts, interactive and entertaining child centers, full-service spas and dining services and, in many cases, climbing walls and outdoor swimming pools.
