Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. is a one bank holding company, incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in August 1991. On December 31, 1991, MPB acquired, as part of the holding company formation, all of the outstanding common stock of Mid Penn Bank, and the bank became a wholly-owned subsidiary of MPB. MPB's other wholly-owned subsidiaries are Mid Penn Insurance Services, LLC which provides a range of personal and investment insurance products and Mid Penn Investment Corporation which is engaged in investing activities.
