(Medical Action) was incorporated under the laws of the State of New York on April 1, 1977, and re-incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware on November 5, 1987. Headquartered in Hauppauge, New York, Medical Action develops, manufactures, markets and supplies a variety of disposable medical products. The Companys products are marketed primarily to acute care facilities in domestic and certain international markets, and in recent years has expanded its end-user markets to include physician, dental and veterinary offices, out-patient surgery centers and long-term care facilities. Medical Action is a leading manufacturer and supplier of collection systems for the containment of medical waste, minor procedure kits and 2 trays, sterile operating room towels and sterile laparotomy sponges.
