In February 1993, the Company acquired the assets of NUSONICS, Inc., a manufacturer of ultrasonic flow meters and analyzers. In December 1999, the Company acquired Automata Instrumentation, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of a line of instruments for use in calibrating and verifying performance of hemodialysis equipment.
