Mittal Steel Overview Mittal Steel is the worlds largest and most global steel producer with an annual production capacity of approximately 75 million tonnes. The Company is the largest steel producer in the Americas and Africa and the second largest in Europe. The Company has steel-making operations in 15 countries on four continents, including 31 integrated, mini-mill and integrated mini-mill steel-making facilities. At year-end 2005, we had approximately 224,000 employees. Mittal Steel produces a broad range of high-quality finished and semi-finished carbon steel products, encompassing the main categories of steel products (flat products, long products and pipes and tubes).
