NPS Pharmaceuticals Inc. is listed on NASDAQ (NPSP). Our objective is to build a profitable biopharmaceutical company by discovering, developing and commercializing small molecule drugs and recombinant proteins. Our current product candidates are primarily for the treatment of bone and mineral disorders, gastrointestinal disorders and central nervous system disorders. Our product portfolio consists of a U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, approved product as well as product candidates in various stages of clinical development and preclinical development. Our FDA approved product, cinacalcet HCl, has received marketing approval in the U.S., the European Union and Canada, for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic kidney disease patients on dialysis and for the treatment of elevated calcium levels in patients with parathyroid carcinoma.
