The Company, through its property and casualty subsidiaries, writes primarily dwelling fire and windstorm, homeowners, mobile homeowners, and personal non-standard automobile lines of insurance in eleven states. The Company, through its life insurance subsidiary, offers a basic line of life, and health and accident insurance products in six states. Property-casualty insurance is the most significant segment, accounting for 88% of total premium revenues. The Company's common stock is traded on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol NSEC.
