Through our three principal business groups - wireless, fixed line, and information and communications technology - we offer a wide range of telecommunications services to over 21 million wireless and fixed line subscribers in the Philippines across the nations most extensive fiber optic backbone and fixed line, cellular and satellite networks. We are the leading fixed line service provider in the Philippines with approximately 62% of the total reported fixed lines in service nationwide as at December 31, 2004. Smart, our wholly-owned subsidiary, is the leading cellular service provider in the country, with approximately 44% of total reported cellular subscribers as at December 31, 2004. Piltel, our 92.1%-owned subsidiary, had approximately 14% of total reported cellular subscribers as at December 31, 2004.
