Range Resources Corporation

Range Resources Corporation is listed on NYSE (RRC). We are engaged in the exploration, development and acquisition of oil and gas properties, primarily in the Southwestern, Appalachian and Gulf Coast regions of the United States. We seek to increase reserves and production through internally generated drilling projects coupled with complementary acquisitions. Previously, we held our Appalachian assets through a 50% owned joint venture, Great Lakes Energy Partners L.L.C. or Great Lakes. On June 23, 2004, we purchased the 50% of Great Lakes that we did not own. In December 2004, we also purchased additional Appalachian properties through the purchase of PMOG Holdings, Inc, a private company, or Pine Mountain.
