STAAR Surgical Company develops, manufactures and distributes worldwide products used by ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals to improve or correct vision in patients with cataracts, refractive conditions, and glaucoma. Originally incorporated in California in 1982, STAAR Surgical Company reincorporated in Delaware in 1986. Unless the context indicates otherwise we, us or the Company, refers to STAAR Surgical Company and its consolidated subsidiaries. Cataract Surgery. Our main products are foldable silicone and Collamer intraocular lenses (IOLs) used after minimally invasive small incision cataract extraction.
