Stewart Enterprises Inc. is listed on NASDAQ (STEI). Founded in 1910, we are the third largest provider of funeral and cemetery products and services in the death care industry in the United States. Through our subsidiaries, we provide a complete range of funeral merchandise and services, along with cemetery property, merchandise and services, both at the time of need and on a preneed basis. As of October 31, 2004, our operations included 242 funeral homes and 147 cemeteries in 27 states within the United States and in Puerto Rico. For fiscal year 2004 funeral operations accounted for approximately 54 percent of our total revenues, and cemetery operations accounted for the remaining 46 percent. Our funeral homes offer a wide range of services and products including funeral services, cremation, transportation services, removal and preparation of remains, caskets and flowers. Our cemetery operations sell cemetery property, merchandise and services.
