TriCo Bancshares

TriCo Bancshares is listed on NASDAQ (TCBK). TriCo Bancshares (TriCo) was incorporated in California on October 13, 1981. It was organized at the direction of the board of directors of Tri Counties Bank for the purpose of forming a bank holding company. On September 7, 1982, the shareholders of Tri Counties Bank became the shareholders of TriCo and Tri Counties Bank became a wholly owned subsidiary of TriCo. At that time, TriCo became a bank holding company subject to the supervision of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRB) under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended. Tri Counties Bank remains subject to the supervision of the California Department of Financial Institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On July 31, 2003, the Company formed a subsidiary business trust, TriCo Capital Trust I, to issue trust preferred securities.
