Washington Gas Light Company

Washington Gas Light Company is listed on NYSE (WGL). WGL Holdings is a holding company that was established on November 1, 2000 under the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935 (PUHCA). WGL Holdings owns all of the shares of common stock of Washington Gas, a regulated natural gas utility, and all of the shares of common stock of Crab Run Gas Company (Crab Run), Hampshire Gas Company (Hampshire) and Washington Gas Resources Corporation (Washington Gas Resources). Washington Gas Resources owns all of the shares of common stock of various unregulated, energy-related businesses. WGL Holdings, through its subsidiaries, sells and delivers natural gas, and provides a variety of energy-related products and services to customers primarily in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding metropolitan areas in Maryland and Virginia. The Company's core subsidiary, Washington Gas, is engaged in the delivery and sale of natural gas that is predominantly regulated by state regulatory commissions.
