Wellman Inc. is listed on NYSE (WLM). We are principally engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of high-quality PermaClear® brand PET (polyethylene terephthalate) packaging resins, Fortrel® brand polyester staple fibers and Wellamid® engineering resins. We believe we are the world's largest PET plastics recycler, utilizing a significant amount of recycled raw materials in our manufacturing operations. PRODUCTS AND MARKETS Our operations are classified into two reportable operating segments: the Packaging Products Group (or PPG) and the Fibers and Recycled Products Group (or FRPG). The following table presents the combined net sales and percentage of net sales for our reportable operating segments for each of the three years ending December 31. In the table, intersegment sales, which are not material, have been eliminated and historical exchange rates have been applied to the data.
